3CX- Getting Voicemails

We love 3CX, but it has so many options you could drown making decisions. A client recently asked us how to get voicemails from different VM boxes, and we didn’t know- so here it is!

Assuming the voicemail box is at extension ‘XXX’ and the voicemail PIN for that extension is ‘YYYY’-

pick up phone
dial '999'
IVR asks for PIN number
enter '#'
IVR asks for extn number
enter extension number 'XXX'
IVR asks for PIN
enter PIN 'YYYY'

Also remember- 3CX can send your voicemails as an email attachment, or simply send you an email telling you there is a voicemail. Let us know if you want any of these features turned on.
