Latin- ‘for the public good’

At Servicemax, we don’t think we’ll change the world by managing computers, just for our clients!
So what can we do to make the world a better place for everyone?

Here’s a few activities that we’ve done to help everyone, not just clients-

Computer donations

When our clients get new computers, many of them allow us to take away the old ones. We then forensically wipe the drives, clean them up, add new keyboards and mice, and donate them to worthy causes.

So far we’ve been able to donate to womens refuges, job support services for recovering addicts, iPads for teaching disabled kids, and computers for kids of single Mums (and Dads!) during covid 19.

It’s hugely rewarding being able to help people who might otherwise struggle to get ahead in the big bad world.

Massive thanks to our clients for enabling this important work!

Volunteer Work

Our CEO Adam Connor served as the Chairman of ‘Run Against Violence’ for 5 years. They are charity focussed on preventing family violence by training school kids to recognise the danger signs of unhealthy relationships.

Run Against Violence raises money by organising running activities, and founders Kirrily Dear and Brad Smithers are deeply committed to the cause- look them up and get involved!

Electronic Frontier Foundation

Servicemax donates to EFF yearly in order to protect the digital rights of everyone. They’ve been integral to lots of super important rights protection cases.

Right to Repair

Servicemax belongs to a number of ‘right to repair’ groups worldwide and supports the idea that you should be able to repair your own devices. Why should you have to buy a new phone if your battery is glued in place?

Ultra Marathon Runners

Adam Connor also runs a facebook group with 2500 members that runs a program of free training runs for some of the toughest ultras in and around Sydney.
